Presiding Bishop inhibits San Joaquin bishop

I didn't think it would happen. I give her a tremendous amount of credit for this.

ENS has the story.

Presiding Bishop inhibits San Joaquin bishop

People leave but dioceses and parishes do not. The problem with the people in Fort Worth and San Joaquin is that the don't want to live by their principles. If they do not want to be in the Episcopal Church so be it but you must have the willingness to live with that decision. Go and make your way the best you can. But do not take things that do not belong to you.

This action should not effect the Former Bishop of San Joaquin in any way. He doesn't want to be an Episcopal Bishop and soon enough he won't be. The only change is he will have to move out of the office that belongs to the Episcopal Church.

Even more staggering in my view is that the review committee backed up the promise KJS made before he took the action of aligning with another province.
