Because of a weird quark of fate I watched the VP debate Thursday night and then say Mamma Mia Friday. It made me realize that ABBA is the perfect parallel to Palin. If you don't know the rumor about ABBA, there were a Swedish pop group who supposedly did not speak English. They supposedly learned to sing songs in English phonetically. Supposedly they did not even know what they were singing. This is what it felt like listening to Sarah Palin. She obviously had been taught certain phrases but had no idea what they meant or how to use them.
What has happened to our society that we think this person should be elected to the second highest office in the land. And even more incredible is intelligent conservatives who think she is just great. They so obviously have completely sold out to party over country.
